Just redesigned my web page, going back to basics, only hand drawn from now on.
So stop by, leave a comment and bookmark. Unless I catch some kind of animal related flu I’ll update it as often as I can be bothered.
freestyle is coming to BERLIN!
This weekend Colin will give it a second try to show what he’s got!
freestyle.berlin: Ready for take-off at Berlin-Tempelhof Airport
They are back in flight! Just one year following its shutdown, freestyle birds of flight will soar the skies
over Berlin Tempelhof Airport. Thanks to freestyle.ch and Swatch, major flight action is in store from
October 9 -11 as freestyle.berlin takes off at Berlin Tempelhof Airport. freestyle.berlin will bring
audiences the same awesome first-class contest action in snowboarding, freeskiing, FMXing and
skateboarding in combination with the broad entertainment program freestyle.ch knows how to deliver.
Since 1995, freestyle.ch has been opening its doors at Zurich’s Landiwiese to the global freestyle sports family, evolving over time into Europe’s largest freestyle sports event. Coming up in October of this year, just two weeks following freestyle.ch’s 15th annual bash, freestyle.berlin will celebrate its premiere at the not-to-be-topped historical Berlin Tempelhof Airport. «There couldn’t be a better venue for freestyle.berlin than Berlin Tempelhof Airport. We are really excited to be able to celebrate the culture of freestyle not just once, but twice, this year in two of the greatest cities in Europe», says OC President Erwin Flury. During the second week of October, Berlin Tempelhof Airport will transform into a grand freestyle arena, setting the stage for the battle of the stars in snowboarding, freeskiing, FMXing and skateboarding as they attempt to seize the title – a guaranteed thrill for audiences! The incomparable Label World trade show and cutting-edge concerts in Zurich will also make their way to freestyle.berlin, rounding out its jam-packed, varied program.

For us riding off-piste was and still is probably the most important reason why we work in this industry. For sure we spend a lot of time in the office, and read more about riding powder than actually doing it ourselves. But once we get out we know why we love what we are doing.
But offering the tools for riding off-piste is only a small part of it. Besides offering a wide range of ATLAS (AllTerrainLiftAccess) Boards – we are also focusing on the education of those who are looking for the ultimate thrill.
We have worldwide cooperations with mountain guides, freeride camps, avalanche education centers and have now also started a new cooperation with one of the leading avalanche education institutions in the German speaking markets:
Since 1998 SAAC has been educating riders about avalanches and dangers in the backcountry with the goal to offer anybody the knowledge and ability to judge and minimize the risk while enjoying the off-piste.
SAAC offers 2 different levels of camps – one 2-day basic camp which is FREE (so be quick signing up as spots are filling up fast…) and a so called SAACnd Step Camp over 3.5 or 5.5 days with a more detailed program s.a. weather and avalanche forecast knowledge, route planning, first aid, etc.

Fellow Think Thankers and Massachusett natives Scott Stevens, Chris Beresford, and Ross Philips where in the building along with bunch of snowboard enthusiasts. Here’s a few pictures form the premier….enjoy-Tim
