This summer some bros and I hit the studio in Portland to lay down some tunes for the “Respect Your Elders” soundtrack. There are a couple of premiers for the movie going on in Tahoe next week and for the Truckee premier the same bros and I are gonna play those same tunes live on stage. So if you are gonna be in South Lake Tahoe the night of the 27th or Truckee the night of the 28th, come out and have a blast. The movie is gonna be awesome and the music…. is gonna be questionable. Party on!
Hey Guys and Girls,
Enter here on SBC Women, and have a chance to come shred with me in Whistler, courtesy of all my sponsors. It’s another La Nina year, which means a TON of snow expected for the Northwest. So enter this and carve some soul turns with me!
The last few weeks have been crazy. I’ve been a traveling one woman circus! One of my highlights this past month was going to the Women’s Sports Foundation’s Annual Salute. They invited some of America’s best female athletes across all sports, in celebration of women sports! It was extremely inpsiring to meet some of these ladies and hear their stories. This night, WSF raised just over 1.1 million dollars for girls in sports! So sick.
My favorite moment was meeting 22 yr old Katie Spotz, who was the first women to ever row from Senegal West Africa over the Atlantic ocean to South America! SOLO! It took her 70 days and raised 70K for drinking water worldwide. Check her site www.rowforwater.com
Thanks to the Women’s Sports Foundation , Billie Jean King and Stacy Holland (and her crew) for making this event possible. The WSF is an organization that I’m working with to help advance the lives of the next generation through sports. It’s a non profit organization, and one of their main programs aimed at women is GoGirlGo! Check out their Grant programs and Ambassador Team Awards to be offered to economically disadvantaged girls.

If you enjoy bike riding and happen to find yourself in the greater Lake Tahoe area then you are in luck. There are a million and one bike rides to do but there is one particular ride that out beauties them all. That my friends is the Tour De Tahoe. A 72mile ride around the perimeter of Lake Tahoe. You can start from any part of the lake and you can go in any direction. I recommend going clockwise, that way you are riding right on the edge of the big blue beauty. Here’s a map of the ride, I did it yesterday and it was such a blast! Party on!
