Gretchen Bleiler finished off the winter Dew Tour season with an impressive run that earned her a 94.25 and a second place on the podium. Kelly Clark managed to squeak by for the win with a 95 score. So the battle between Bleiler and Clark continues as they head off to Norway for the World Snowboarding Championships.

After winning the qualifier, beating out Kelly Clark, Gretchen Bleiler got back on the podium in the finals with a 2nd place finish. Her run included; a frontside crippler, backside 540 mute, frontside 720 tail grab, Cab 720 Indy, and frontside tail grab. Check out the vid…

The girls have set off from Whistler and landed in the deep forests of interior BC to meet up with friends at the GT memorial NoBoard race, then out to a little cabin in the woods for some dreamy pillow riding. First rule about T^*#+ L@&%, don’t talk about T^*#+ L@&%!!

P.S. WEBISODE #1: 2012 Hana Beaman, Robin Van Gyn, Leanne Pelosi are out in the Canadian backcountry searching for pow pow and good times. In this episode the girls run into some sled complications while they are out getting warmed up for the season.
Another first place podium for Brooke this time at the Gatorade Free Flow tour. Brooke took 1st place in Slopestyle at the Vail, CO stop securing an all expense paid trip to the Finals in Ogden, UT where she will have the chance to earn a spot into next years Dew Tour. Although the park set up was small Brooke charged the jumps going huge and stomping her tricks with style.

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (December 15, 2011) – K2 Snowboarding and Gretchen Bleiler are proud to announce that they have extended their partnership through 2014. Bleiler, an X Games champion and Olympic medalist, has been an integral part of the K2 International Pro Team for more than eight years helping to progress women’s snowboarding through not only her on-snow accomplishments but through her involvement in the K2 Alliance and the development of products like her K2 EcoPop snowboard, Contour boots, and Agogo bindings.

Fresh off the training grounds of New Zealand, Gretchen is busy preparing for a full season of competition including the US Grand Prix, Dew Tour and X Games among others. Additionally, K2 engineers will continue seeking product feedback from Gretchen with the idea of creating the most advanced and effective women’s snowboard products on the market. Keep your eyes on Gretchen, she’s just getting started.
