As a bunch of monkeys throwdown some metal maneuvers in Seattle and a bunch of hippies go to bed early with morning plans of taking pow turns in many parts of the Rockies, you can’t help but feel the steady onslaught of winter……and it’s early October!! Here in Whitefish it’s been in the single digits the past couple nights and the snow-frosted upper bowls of Whitefish Mountain Resort at Big Mountain looming above the town has left the locals in quite an excitement. Red Lodge, Montana got forty inches of snow from one stormĀ a few days ago and ski hills in Colorado are already open. Don’t bother counting the days.
It’s coming…
