Thanks for all of you who came out and made High Cascade Snowboard camp this summer. The summer concluded with the Golden Marshmallow awards in which the best of the best from each department was voted by camp. Kirk Kaufman won Digger of the year. He accepted the award in true digger fashion. I won most helpful in the demo center, I was also the only person in there most of the summer. Be on the lookout for some edits coming your way via me.
As August is just around the corner and the Oregonian heat wave is hitting, 110 in Portland translates to about 80 to 90 degrees on hill, a good breeze can save your day, but there is no denying the heats effects on the snow. At times like these you could complain about the heat, or make the best of it, toss some snow under your hat to cool off and make a BMX Style Rhythm section as we did today.
Kirk Kaufman's track, made possible by himself, me, Josh Poehlein and Clayton Kinney
Here he is directing the dig, or maybe moving the snow with telekinesis
Kirk testing his creation, more video to follow in a few days,-James
