We reached out to our Team riders, a couple friends, and some of the in-house people that make K2 Snowboarding possible to put together a little playlist to get you ready for opening day. There’s something for everyone in here, so grab a cup of coffee, your waxing iron, and take a journey along this audio rollercoaster that is our Team playlist.
We needed some quality time with the gang, so we decided to rally (almost) the entire crew. The Pacific Northwest had a banner snow-year so we chose to bring everyone out to the Summit at Snoqualmie to shoot some photos, bond, and have some good times.
The King (and newly turned pro), Mark Wilson, shared a part with good friend Spencer Schubert in Videograss’ Visitors video. It also happens to be the last part in the entire video. Feast your eyes on the part, and make sure you hit Videograss with the follow over on Instagram.
The Silent Killer. K2 Snowboard Team Rider Mark Wilson is a soft spoken ripper hailing from northern Minnesota after spending his young years in tropical Hawaii. Mark’s calm demeanor shows through in everything he does; whether he’s cooking you a meal, cruising around Portland, Oregon on his bike, or strapping into his snowboard.
Timberline at Mount Hood is often seen as the holy grail of summer snowboarding (and for good reason), but what happens between the wet winter and the influx of summer camps is a mystery. The Keep The Change gang answers all of these questions and more in three minutes, and it’s safe to say that hot laps on Stormin’ Norman have never looked so good.
The day before the day has come and here I sit at home in California before a wave of vintage stoke consumes Boreal Mountain Resort on Tahoe’s Donner Summit. It wont be long before K2’s team of rippers join snowboard lovers old and new in the legendary hand dug Donner half pipe to celebrate the roots of freestyle snowboarding which run deep here in Northern California.
