There is still plenty of snow in most parts of Montana. But with the schools out for summer, music festivals in full swing, tourist girls starting to show their pretty faces and temperatures soaring into the 80’s these past few days, we knew we had to get out and get some before it all melts.
I just had 3 great days of riding good cold powder, camping in the snow and lots of hiking back here in Montana. Yes it is may, we do have long, cold winters, we don’t have electricity, and we used horses and a wolf to get to the top of the mountains we rode.
The road to Alaska is a long one, with many spectacular sights; the Canadian Rockies and Jasper Natl. Park to the prairies of Alberta, the northern rockies of BC and Toad River, hotsprings, wildlife in every direction, great people and only a handful of towns.
A big congratulations to K2 North American Team rider Aaron Robinson for taking home the Overall Title at the North Face Masters last weekend. Aaron has been participating in the extreme competitions for the last two years and is one of the most fun riders to watch.
