Snowboarding is passion, snowboarding is inspiring and creative; it’s high fives and powder mustaches. Many of the best days to be had are in white out conditions, in the heart of the storm, yet fully comforted by the solitude of the trees. This is snowboarding in the Pacific Northwest, in our own backyard.
The true beauty of snowboarding, though, is that every person has they’re unique outlook and whether your backyard is Mt. Baker or a golf course in West Virginia we encourage you to explore that territory and reacquaint yourself with the comfort that snowboarding brings. The friendships that it strengthens and the excitement it instills.
Follow along as we portray our season every other Tuesday from now until the start of January. This is “Our Backyard,” where’s yours?
We guarantee that its not always pretty, but when you’re snowboarding with your friends its always a blast! Mt. Baker “Bails and Fails” with Ben Lynch, Nick Dirks,Tim Eddy, Max Warbington and Ninja Suit rider Tucker Andrews!
Tim Eddy is presenting new webisode series for this winter featuring two things you love most, pow and chow. Here is a short taste of what you can expect from Pow and Chow!

Yesterday was a glorious day of splitboarding, powder snow, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, beautiful scenery, oh and more powder snow. This is one of Tahoes many peaks that are easily accessible via splitboard(the best invention since pizza). Hope you enjoy this video of a most excellent day! -Tim
Splitboarding has changed my life. It’s the best invention since snow….oh and pizza. It turns snowboarding into even more of an adventure. It’s not all about the decent (although that will always be the best part), its about being outside in the mountains and soaking in mother natures finest. I’ve been splitboarding almost everyday for the past week and it just keeps getting better and better. There’s endless opportunities and a lifetime of self propelled slashin and bashin. You can literally do it from your front door…here’s a little video from my front door the other day. Enjoy -Tim Eddy
